That’s when he saw it — the pig. The CURSED PIG. Its stitched eyes caught the light and glowed blood-red. The snout twitched. The zipper mouth grinned.

He dropped the knife. His scream never made it past his teeth. The bag didn’t move, but the squeal that came from it wasn’t hers. It was his.

They never found him. But sometimes, if you listen close to the bag, you can still hear him oinking.
